MEEt karla
Hi, I’m Karla “K” Nelson.
I have devoted my career to empowering women through holistic health and wellbeing, drawing on over 25 years of experience as a women-centric practitioner and 33 years in the health sector.
I ran chiropractic clinics from 1998 to 2006 and then started NW Medical Management in 2008 to handle the day-to-day operations, billing, and customer relations of several wellness centers. I took everything I learned about running a profitable business from this experience and applied it to my wellness venture.
The Well was started by me in 2011. Building a stronger network of massage therapists in the greater Seattle area and beyond to Lewis County, Washington.
Through both classroom instruction and hands-on experience, I want to continue teaching others about the transformative power of integrative wellness. Thus, BodyCraft Academy came into being. Promoting wellness providers’ careers through the development of engaging, educational, and cost-effective programs.

My name is Siân Alberts
I am a Certified Professional Biller and a member of the AAPC. During massage school in 2005 I began learning medical billing as a CA at a chiropractic office in Minnesota. I suffered a back injury and was no longer able to pursue my massage career, so I turned my focus to medical administration. Since then, I have managed and done all billing procedures for 8 clinics ranging in focus from chiropractic, massage, acupuncture, naturopathy, and even psychiatry. After having my daughter in 2014 I turned to self-employment and began my independent contracting career in medical billing. I founded my billing company in 2021 based on the belief that all alternative care and mental health practices deserve to have the respect, and most importantly, to be paid for the services they render as an important part of western medicine practices. On behalf of me and my family, THANK YOU for all that you do to provide care for people in need.
